Anybody played Grand Theft Auto:  San Andreas?  How is it?

I enjoyed GTA3 and am working my way through Vice City.  I like Vice City better in some ways, such as being able to leap from moving vehicles, although I notice it gives me a headache and nausea sometimes which 3 never did  .  My biggest complaint is the shooting system.  It's awkward to target and rifles with scopes have absolutely no zoom to them.  What's the point of having a scope if you can't see any more clearly?  At least that's the case on the PS2, might be better on the PC with the keyboard/mouse combo.
